Itinerary
Day 1 Srinagar: Arrive Srinagar. You will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel. This place is famous for its lakes and the charming houseboats floating on them, Srinagar is also known for traditional Kashmiri handicrafts. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. The lake comprises a series of water bodies, including the Nagin Lake. One can take in the panoramic view of the mountains surrounding Srinagar from this lake. Kashmiri boats called Shikaras are used to explore the intricate maze of waterways on this lake. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 2 Srinagar: Proceed for a full-day tour of Srinagar. Visit the famed Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Gardens and Chashmeshahi Gardens. These well laid out terraced gardens, replete with cascading fountains and beautiful flowering shrubs and trees, were built for the relaxation of the Mughal Emperor and his queens. Proceed to the Hazratbal Mosque, an important muslim religious place, with its pristine white marble elegance reflected in the waters of Dal Lake. Hazratbal’s special significance is derived from the fact that it houses a hair of the prophet Muhammad. This is displayed to the public on religious occasions. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 3 Srinagar: Full day excursion trip to Gulmarg (2440 Meters above Sea level) – it is one of the most beautiful hill stations in this world and also called “Meadow of flowers” and has the world’s highest golf course. Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports, skiing etc. Enjoy the sightseeing of Gulmarg as well as Gondola ride from Gulmarg to Khilan. Return back to Srinagar. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 4 Pahalgam: Drive to Pahalgam (94 kms / 3 hrs approx). Arrive Pahalgam and check in to your hotel. Proceed for a tour of Pahalgam. This paradise is located on the banks of the Lidder River, and is known as the ‘Valley of the Shepherds’. Beautiful pine forests, snow clad mountains and undulating green meadows characterize Pahalgam, making it a truly idyllic destination. It has been used as a locale for many movies due to its pristine beauty. Overnight in Pahalgam
Day 5 Srinagar: Drive back to Srinagar (94 kms / 3 hrs approx). Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 6 Onwards: Proceed to the airport to board flight for your onward destination.
